USB to Serial communication PS1

To upload some self made binaries to the PS1 using Unirom. See https://unirom.github.io/serial_psx_cable/

What do I need?

• FTDI FT232RL module but I already have an 3.3v FTDI usb serial cable, so this should be fine
• way to connect to the PSX, I think I will go the lazy way and just solder wires from the PCB
